# Deposit funds

> Find your deposit address and make funds available for trading.

Cove wallets can receive tokens, including tokens you did not buy through Cove. Your **trading balance**, however, is spendable **USDC on Solana**. Receiving another token does not automatically make its value spendable USDC.

To fund trading on **Arc**, you can deposit **USDC on Solana** into this balance, then open an Arc token in Cove. Use only the networks and assets offered in **Deposit** when choosing another funding route.

## Deposit from another wallet or exchange

    Open the intended profile, then **Deposit** or `/deposit`. Check the wallet shown before copying an address.

  <Step title="Choose the correct network and address">
    Use the **Solana** address for Solana assets and **Deposit EVM** for the listed standard EVM networks.

    **HyperEVM** and **Avalanche**, when available, have separate wallet addresses behind **Show HyperEVM wallet** and **Show Avalanche wallet**. Deposit only the matching chain's assets to those addresses.

  <Step title="Review the asset, minimum, and bridge mode">
    Check the live deposit panel. Other-chain stablecoins normally need at least **\$25 on Ethereum** or **\$1 on other supported chains** to bridge.

    🔁 means auto-bridge is on. ✋ means you approve bridges yourself.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send from your external wallet">
    In the sending wallet or exchange, use the same network and asset as the deposit route. Review the address and any sender-side fees before sending.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check arrival and trading balance">
    Look for **Deposit received**. For other-chain stablecoins, wait for **Bridge complete**, or open `/bridge` and **Approve** if the wallet is manual.

    Return to `/start` and refresh **Balance**.

  Use the address displayed for the exact network. A matching-looking address on another network is not enough. Sending to a wrong network or address can make funds inaccessible.

## Deposit another token

A non-stablecoin deposit can appear as a holding and offer **Convert to USDC**. Review the token and any conversion quote before acting; conversion is a trade, with its own fees and liquidity limits.

For USDT or other stablecoin routes, check the current conversion and credited amount. Choose Solana USDC if you want to avoid an additional stablecoin conversion step.

## Top up by card

1. Open `/deposit` and select **Card Top Up via MoonPay**, when offered.
2. In the Deposit Mini App, check the receiving wallet.
3. Choose the purchase amount and follow MoonPay's checkout.
4. Review the provider's fees, eligibility requirements, and delivery details.
5. Return to Cove and check the deposit receipt and balance.

The provider controls available payment methods and checkout requirements.

## Why is my balance unchanged?

| What you see                          | What it means                                                 |
| ------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Parked**                            | The deposit needs your approval in [Bridge](/funds/bridge)    |
| **Consolidating**                     | A bridge is still running                                     |
| **Deposit more to unlock**            | Stablecoins are below the route's bridge minimum              |
| Token in Positions, no USDC increase  | You received a token rather than spendable USDC               |
| No deposit in this profile            | Check the receiving address and other profiles                |
| **Deposits are paused** / access lost | Restore wallet access in [Cove Wallets](/essentials/security) |
